
Adrian Schrinner
Chair | Brisbane City Council
Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner is Chair of Council’s Civic Cabinet and was previously the Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Public and Active Transport Committee.
His focus as Lord Mayor is on building the critical infrastructure the city needs while protecting Brisbane’s unique lifestyle and expanding Brisbane’s green space.
Councillor Schrinner commenced as Lord Mayor on 8 April 2019 following the resignation of Graham Quirk, and was subsequently appointed Chair of the Council of Mayors (SEQ) on 26 April 2019.
Adrian was first elected to Council in a by-election in September 2005 and re-elected at the general elections in 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024.
