Toowoomba Second Range Crossing

In January 2014, the Federal Government committed to spending $1.3 billion to build a bypass route north of Toowoomba. When completed, this 41 kilometre bypass will form part of the National Land Transport Network.

This bypass will increase crossing capacity, reduce heaving vehicle operating costs, improve travel times and freight efficiency and reduce crashes by providing a safer, less congested route.
